In 1972 Hrach started riding at 13 years old in Armenia (formerly U.S.S.R.)

Shortly after in 1973 he joined Racing Sports School Club at the age of 14 years old

Hrach became the Armenian Junior Champion (Team Time Trial, Individual Time Trial & Road Race) in 1974

Jumping into 1976 Hrach took 2nd place in the Russian Junior National Championship Road Race

Riding into 1977, became the youngest rider in Ylta 16-stage road race in Russia! 

In 1978 a 3rd place finish in the Russian National Championship Track points race

1979 was the Russian Goodwill Games, taking 7th place in 100K Team Time Trial (Armenian record for 10 years: 2hr. 4min.)

1980 was the year Hrach immigrated to the U.S.  Look out U.S. Cycling! 

In 1981 he joined Fred Mengoni's G.S. Mengoni bike club in New York City; placing in the top 5 at the Tour of Sommerville (Harvey Nitz and Steve Bauer are team mates)

1981 was the move to Santa Barbara, California joining the Santa Barbara Bicycle Club.  That year taking 16th place overall in the Coors Classic bike race.  This race was a true bike classic!

In 1982 Hrach began working for Hendrichson bike shop in Santa Barbara while simultaneously served as coach to Curt and Darren Stockton

From 1982 - 1984 Hrach traveled with 3 different teams as a professional mechanic

Between 1984 - 1988 our mechanic got promoted to Service Manager

In the great year of 1988 - Opens his first bike shop, Velo Pasadena, in Pasadena, California

And 22 years later (2010) - Hrach opens his second bike shop, Velo Studio, in Burbank, California
